OVERVIEW:
- Born as a Demon Hunter, Avery was subjected to experimentation and injected with an Augment at a young age. The act itself did not override his Evocations, but instead corrupted them to such an extent that whenever in use, he essentially loses control. The DNA strand that was passed down genetically from his mother was aggravated in the process of neutralizing the Augment, thus causing this result. A drooling, feral, snarling, wreck of a monster emerges through the agony. Unable to control himself in any way, he becomes anyone’s worst nightmare: rampaging, killing cold-blooded with bare hands and monstrous strength. He is unstoppable until killed or until said necklace is replaced around his neck, created to correlate with the Augment injection that started this mess to begin with. In short, Avery’s cross necklace is what keeps him sane and his Evocations under control. Without it, he will suffer mass amounts of pain whilst using his abilities and go on a batshit murder frenzy.
