[NEPHILIM]

OVERVIEW
Technically Nephilim are the grotesque birth of one parent Angelic and the other Demonic. This is a biblical definition. We're a far cry from that literally, but, in spirit, we'd like to think... close enough.

The Nephilim? We're a rag-tag band of Demon Hunters who devote ourselves to... well, not much, really. "Pseudo-vigilantism" is one way of putting it. We ain't fond of Demons, and Templars tend to be douchebags, some Ritualists are okay, but mainly, we just help out the civvies or the younger Hunters lost in Inferis - cause fuck knows we've all been there before. Sort of.

Our mission statement is pretty abstract. Just keep trying to make things better and enhance the effort. We're not exactly prolific at the moment, and our members move, but we tend not really to have many boundaries. If you can help, and you want to, be you Hunter, civvy, or even a friendly Ritualist (oxymoronic as that sounds) then you're welcome to join right up.

Endgame goal? No idea. Just got to keep living. Hunt down these Archdemon fucks. And if we make a difference? Awesome. If we don't? So be it.

HIERARCHY
Nephilim consists of multiple cells of members with de facto leaders across cities. As their members move around consistently this "hierarchy" often changes, and here the status updates change. Only London and Washington D.C. have active Nephilim cells within currently. As of February 2012 (site date) this is the current run of things.

EQUIPMENT AND TRAINING
All got our Evocations. Most of us aren't that good at the ol' fighting shit outside of Inferis, but when Demons are your main enemies and you have the handy ability to shift in and out of an alternate dimension more or less at will, then combat in the real world becomes somewhat less of a necessity. As something of a more subtle group, we sort of advise members not to raise attention to themselves and learn to have a degree of discretion. Templars are everywhere. Like Bill Gates.

ADDED NOTES
Fairly Demon Hunter and Civilian exclusive unless you're a real bro. Not massively fond of Ritualists or Templars, but if you're legit, you're legit. (Also, you kind of have to be brought in IC, so you need to have at the very least RPed with a current member of Nephilim prior to this in a positive-esque manner once to get in. We recommend more.)

Willing to sign Blank up for the London branch whenever he gets a chance to meet them, given his history he might know about Nephilim or be on speaking terms with the higher ups whichever fits better

Nephilim only formed at the end of January, so it's unlikely he knows of them. ^_^; Maybe he could meet Lazarus or Yuuko soon?

I would like to eventually have a non-violent encounter (woah!) with this group with Kerry. Don't know if she'd join or not, but with enough hard convincing she could probably be twisted to stop sulking and fight for justiiiice. I wouldn't know until this meeting actually occured, however.

Is it cool if I preemptively sign Maeve up for them? Cause.... she still needs to meet Laz and stuff, but I know she will be joining them. If not, thats cool, I can wait. :)

Beings Jasna IS in EDEN already, but does work for anyone, for the most part, would it be parsibre for her to be in both EDEN and Nephilim, prehaps? o3o If so, add her to "To Be Encountered." Unless her thread with Yuuko counts as an encounter.

Well, if they know she works with EDEN, possibly not great. However EDEN is currently non-existent, so... well, even if Nephilim do find out, it's just more conflict and plot.

I want to join this faction IC and possibly be a de-facto leader of a section just because it'll be hilarious to have a lazy-ass drunk leading people. XD

I could possibly set Spade up for Hong Kong cell leader. Depends on how many members we get, so invite moar people~
