In the depths of the Regal Necropolis' sewer systems, an interesting effect is coming to light. They are like New York City's alligators; most dismiss them as a hoax, but those that live there swear by their existence. They are a unique result of untouched mortal skeletons, left behind from the stripped meat and bones left behind from the Sanguine Palace, and though their mortal coils are all consumed and eliminated, their souls dead and gone, they have now become powerful beings whose bodies have been fed the raw soul energy that courses through the sewers. They are the Blood Skeleton Fiends; red, bloody skeletal abominations that attack blindfully and seek the raw stuff of soul energy to feed upon. They crave it, and they will seek it out if it ever wanders in their lairs.

Abilities: They are slow moving and relatively weak (skeletons that are walking, after all. They practically stick together only through soul energy) but there are quite a few of them, and they are quiet. They emanate a disquite that frightens the soul and causes an individual to stop dead in their tracks out of fear and anguish. Those that don't get away in time are bitten, and their own soul energy is sucked out of them, causing apparatus to fail, augments to short-circuit, and inferismorphs to glitch and revert as they feed upon your life force with wild abandon...
