- Laurelei's lightning barrier is a simple yet effective defensive tool. Her augment concentrates electrical energy and materializes it as a powerful sphere of lightning. The size and power of this field is dependent on how much energy Laurelei is willing to exert, and can be used to provide cover for a small group of allies. The shield easily repels most physical attacks, and its electromagnetic properties deflect metallic projectiles. As an offensive tool, this particular augment is somewhat limited, as it is easily avoided by most competent opponents. However, if one is unfortunate enough to be caught in the lethal web of electricity, some billion volts of destructive force will ensure they never make such a mistake again.
