Fresh Fish~ No, no Grandmaster Edge said not to call new recruits that, it was unprofessional and bad for moral. And a specimen was off the charts, and meat sack was right out. Test subject too, ever since that labeling error resulted in a Knight Templar having a lobotomy and shoved into an iron suit during the Cybernetics Program. Patient though...that was a good one, it made it sounds almost as though he wasn’t about to insert bizarre occult technologies into their various orifices. No, it sounded more like they were coming for a shot and a lollypop. Note to self, obtain codeine flavored lollypops. Not that Dr. Johannes E. Schlosser even had a doctorate in medicine…or engineering…or technology. In fact, Schlosser just received his doctorate this year via an online course. Everyone called his Doctor Schlosser so he felt like he should at least live up to that name. But he was promptly told at the graduation ceremony (which involved a congratulatory flash video and a printout certificate) by Grandmaster Edge that a doctorate in Philosophy was a waste of Templar resources. Schlosser, of course, disagreed entirely! If one wishes to know the inner workings of the body and mind, not only of others but himself, should not one try to get a deeper understanding of the cosmos? Although admittedly, the online courses only seemed to further exacerbate Schlosser’s inherent solipsism. That was probably why Schlosser had, for the past twelve hours, been staring at a computer screen in an attempt to stare directly into YOUR EYES…Wait what? Note to self: increase alpha wave therapy to reduce Mark XVIII hallucinations.

Schlosser flipped open his agenda, yes he kept one on paper because that last thing he needed was a malfunction and his internal calendar messing up his schedules, and he saw that today was indeed the day that a brand spanking new Templar was to be marching into his facility and getting her new augment. A French woman no less! If Schlosser had any inkling towards the thought of sex, he might be aroused, but instead he was much more interested in the hands and thighs presenting in her profile. Perhaps she wouldn’t notice if she woke from surgery missing a hand…it would be for the greater good of the Order of course, never hand have too many good hand studies. But Schlosser guessed that he’d probably be reprimanded for that, well at least he’d be able to harvest her for parts if she suffered from severe Augment Rejection. Not that Schlosser enjoyed Augment Rejection, he preferred the damn things to work since that meant he was doing it right as it were.

IN ANY CASE! Schlosser did hope the dear would make it to her appointment on time. What with having to go through all of the various security protocols, wandering experiments, chemical explosions, and Earl. Such excitement was to be had!
