DEMON DESCRIPTION:
David is an enormous squid. There isn't too much else to say. Well, aside from that he is just over a thousand yards long, half of him being tentacles about as wide as a red wood tree. Each of his six hundred and sixty six tentacles has two small and thin very dexterous tentacles for fine motor interaction. Also, each of his tentacles has a large eye every ten yards. These eyes can close with a thick eye lid that protects it from the damage it might sustain from moving around. He is a deep and dark red that seems to ebb with an energy draw straight from the darkest depths of the Black Sea. He has the traditional giant squid, however, David's eyes are proportionately enormous and a luminescent blue. Dave's movements are majestic and smooth like any normal squid though due to his size these motions seem even more slow and methodical. He would be a majestic sight to behold if he went such a terrible menace to life itself.

MORTAL DESCRIPTION:
As close to looking "human" as David ever gets is being a eighteen-foot tall solid iron diving suit. The suit is hollow and sounds exactly like one would expect from a hollow iron suit. Each step clangs with steely echos and water constantly pours from the open face mask. Two ghostly red eyes glow inside of the helmet of the rusty diving suit. David's voice echos hollowly out from every part of his body. A giant anchor is chained around his right arm and he can never leave it behind. If he is ever separated from his anchor he will die.

PERSONALITY:
Never has there been a more lonely demon. From the moment he died as a poor sailor he was alone. Since then he has been forever isolated. David's life has been a constant search for companionship. However, he's not a very personable individual. He instead is horridly overbearing and demanding. he cares little about the wants or needs of others and instead prefers to kidnap his "friends". David is almost uncharacteristically nonviolent and even tempered. never losing his cool and resorting to violence unless he needs to. After all, why would a giant squid that can just sink into the depths needs fight? That and dead people make poor friends. David is remarkably easy to summon and sometimes will show up even if another demon was being summoned. After all, he just wants to talk... forever.

David is huge fan of jokes and pun, particularly bad puns. the worse the pun the better as far as he is concerned. He has a tendency to kidnap comedians and other funny people. Hell, if you are telling a joke too close to the shore you might get snagged. Unfortunately David lacks this spark of wit and instead can only crack terrible jokes that leave even the crickets silent. This of course doesn't stop him from trying. Arguably David's greatest power is the ability to immediately silence people with an unfathomably bad joke.

Despite all of his flaws David is unshakably loyal to any of his friends and his archdemons. He will follow his masters to the ultimate end and never question it. he knows that they are the gods of the realm and he is blessed with the chance to live forever with them. When they say jump he says: "Ummmmm, Okay, but have you seen me?".... the point  being he'd try. Dave also makes a serious effort to make himself available for ritualists so that he might further the archdemons' plans in the real world. Dave's ancient mind and boundless will make him always the superior in a possession.

HISTORY:
Whatever Dave was was not important. He was likely just some selfish and hedonistic sailor or fisherman. he does however know that he was a fisherman or sailor, perhaps both. He can remember a great deal of water and being on a boat constantly while he was alive. He also suspects that he may have died alone at sea, hence why he longs for companionship so much. When one lives under the sea alone you have plenty of time for introspection. During those seemingly endless hours of thought he came to the conclusion that he was a Roman. His style of dress and seemingly innate knowledge of Latin serve as evidence to that fact. As for why his human form is a massive anchor wielding diving suit he can't say.

Dave's life as demon began as it does with many souls. He was once a tortured soul and then was converted by Legion into something greater. This one action has given Legion a special spot in Dave's Super Best Friends slot. He keeps a small shrine under the sea where he keeps memorabilia for all three of his Super Best friends. His transformation into a demon was a sudden and somewhat foggy one. however his early days as a demon in the Black Sea were filled with fear. He was only small back then and many demons tried to eat him or kill him. He dodge the demons he could and ate the smaller ones. For so long he was just an animal with sentience. This was an existence he was not happy with. he wanted to talk to people and learn, he did not want to spend his life getting bigger and eating bigger things. It was around the time he was a hundred feet long that he discovered that he could help. he could be summoned! As long as he made himself available. He finally could talk to people again. Unfortunately most ritualists were not interested in conversation and just wanted to enslave him. Despite that fact David continued to let himself be summoned and continued to kill people from the inside out.

Soon enough David was the biggest things in the water and still getting bigger. He had stopped eating little creatures intentionally but continued to absorb spirit energy from all around him. Before he knew it he had become something impressive and powerful. though he still had no friends, just people who wanted something from him. that's when the kidnappings started. David began stealing interesting people from the shore and sea and taking them back to his caves. He would hold them there for as long as they would survive. Hundreds of demons and mortals perished and will perish at his squidy tentacles if he remains ignored!
