DESCRIPTION:
- Longinus is the fabled lance that pierced Jesus' side as he laid upon the crucifix. Many churches and clergymen have claimed it as a personal relic of their particular town or standing ground, and whilst some have recovered shrapnel from the original lance, it was infact truly lost long ago in its entire form. However - the original spear itself came from Akrasiel, who can, at will, conjure a lance which possesses the essence of the actual Longinus. The design is relatively simple, but the small circular grate holding the perpetually-moving mass of what appears to be gelatinous fluid is actually suspending in motion the active soul energy generated from the original creation of Longinus.

Whilst the lance is not tainted with any of Mr. Christ's blood, it is, however, able to call down meteors, and is used exclusively as a conduit for Akrasiel's Gears, all of which pertain to manipulating the cosmos. Without the Longinus, Akrasiel cannot use his Gears; but the lance itself is unbreakable. If lost, it can be reformed and recreated - and the old one dissolved - over twenty-four hours.

- The Gladia are war axes which Akrasiel can seemingly produce at will. With tempered, holy, blessed blades, they're fashioned of the finest silver with ornate designs, and eviscerate Demonic tissue on strike with aplomb, as if they had been bathed in holy water. Their angelic origins are unknown; but Akrasiel utilises them both as fast-strike dual-wield close-combat weaponry, and as throwing axes. The blades are deadly sharp, and can be tossed with nigh-on perfect efficacy by the Archangel, who has to do naught but dive under his cloak to retrieve another, seemingly pulling them from thin air.

- The Leonum are a pair of quadruple-barreled twelve-gauge shotguns, sawn-off and fitted with a pistol grip. In place of regular shotgun pellets within, these shells are packed tight with blessed silver shavings as a sort of shrapnel. Their shells function similar to buckshot, and can be used at close-range for perfect execution of lesser Demons, or fired from a slightly greater range to catch a wider spread of targets. They're break-barrel, but Akrasiel snaps them open with ease, and reloads them from an almost-cyclical ammunition belt. The kick on them for any human would halt their use of them, but the Archangel utilises them with, just like his other weaponry, extreme efficiency.

- The Venatores are a pair of break-barrel six-shot double-action adorned revolvers. Their barrels are a gold and off-grey sheen, with handles made from rosewood said to be cut from the very trees of Eden itself. The rounds that the Venatores fire are specialised, high-penetration .55 silver-tipped holy rounds, designed to shred through Demon flesh and embed deep within their disgusting bodies. Their average range is almost double that of your standard revolver, and from the pommel of each dangle iron crucifixes held in place by thin chains.

- The Clavis is arguably the most powerful long-range weapon in Akrasiel's arsenal. Its function is for one thing and one thing only: to destroy. It, like both of the other types of firearms that the Archangel utilises, is break-action, but only single-shot, with an ornate shape and design, crafted from a combination of woods, blessed golden and silver alloys, and iron to give the frame some structure. The round loaded in is an extremely long 25mm projectile, with a solid base and a gyrojet-style firing system, but with a particular twist to it. Only the base of the round is solid; whilst the rest is hollow, though packed incredibly tightly with razor-sharp silver shavings as shrapnel.

Firing the Clavis yields an impressive amount of recoil - even for an Archangel - but it's very much worth it. The round can travel for almost a kilometre - making those airborne assaults far more worthwhile - and will not split or tarnish at all, instead just striking what it does - if it's a particularly large target, it may embed itself in their flesh, painful as it may be, and smaller targets may be run straight through. Even if the projectile lands in the ground, it will simply stay there, apparently static, until Akrasiel pulls the trigger a second time, at which point a high-explosive powder within will ignite, bursting open the hollow chamber and sending a three-hundred and sixty degree radius of blessed silver shrapnel outwards to tear through the flesh of all the unfortunate enemies nearby.
