DESCRIPTION:
Manly, grizzled, manly, and hawkish, Lars von Sanders is the epitome of a man with the amount of man in his mustache that is manly. He has a stubble, and fits just about anything filled with explosions that ensues from behind him in the background while he walks away, calmly drinking some schnapps, and smoking a cigarette. He is just that kind of a dude. His eyes are blue, for those with impaired vision, but have a bored, and dull look to them as if he has seen everything there is to see, as if he got to glimpse into the perversion that is the gardens of Asmodeus, and has forever been grizzled by the experience just by looking into the fuckfest orgy cauldron of disease going on there. So to retort, nothing much really seems to phase him as he has a poker face constantly, it's hard for him to make an expression, and his lack of expressions has rendered his face with less wrinkles than one should have. His eyes though may seem dull, but really they are analyzing everything subtly, leaking from his STASI training to always look around, see around, envision things within and without and cold read from a moment's notice. Decades of experience made him a veteran of sorts coming from one of the most highly regarded intelligence agencies in the Communist Bloc.

His jaws are broad, he has wrinkles, furrowed eyebrows, and greying brown hair losing its pigmentation as age sets upon him. Those strands of hair is parted to the side, as further extending down is an unclean unshaven look that be a stubble firmly settling upon his face, and above it is the magnificence that is his 'stache, thick and well grown from years.

His wardrobe tends to vary, as he does not exactly play upon making identifying him easily, and giving himself away. Typically inconspicuous usually, and he tends to don his Paladin uniform if need be for the occasion, but otherwise tends to wear civilian slacks when not on duty, or otherwise he needs to not stand out. When combat situation calls, he wears kevlar, military grade ones meant to take rounds from assault rifles. Tends to favor clothing with a lot of pockets, sleeves and anything he can conceal his effects into, and carry the greatest amount without looking indiscreet about it. Also tends to favor jackboots, a set of fingerless gloves, and a utility belt.

His body musculature is quite fitting towards making use of three things when looking towards combat, and not just one focus as many people tend to think. That being strength, stamina and speed all combined into one as his regimen has shown. He is quite toned with visible muscles to show for it, rigorous stamina and his speed can keep up consistently on the field with the younger elite operatives. He may have aged, but his abilities have not been found wanting on the field as a result.

He stands about 6' 2" feet, and weighs about 200 pounds.

PERSONALITY:
Lars von Sanders is a STASI operative for all the connotion and underlying tones it carries. EX-STASI operative that is. He is analytical and tends to observe the most minute of details upon a glance, with knowledge of things that many do not know. He isn't exactly one to stick around in the open or the like, as he dislikes the notion that just one day, there is a rifle out there with a bullet with his name on it. Playing dice with divinity is not what he intends to do, not after the freak show shit storms he saw back in his STASI days, those experiments that gone wrong, that which had to be put down.

He isn't traumitized by such things, but rather disgused and contemptious of the incompetence shown during his days at what allowance bestowed upon him to realize the Atheistic agenda pursued by his Soviet overseers were pure bullshit. They were the pawns of the Devil himself, to disbelieve would mean to add further to the ranks of the unholy and all that is abominable, henceforth he is a man of vision, that which can see the bigger vision concerning himself overall.

To be a Templar is not seen as a privilege, but rather a better situating of roles where he may make more usage of his assets and training once taught to survey for Templar activities, now better suit the Templars themselves in ridding the Ritualists so rife in the Communist Bloc.  Nonetheless he has a mind that is quite sharp for details and the like, and is not one to spare such gestures as mercy truly, only using such measures as manipulation in place as he believes in no loose ends, or to lower the instance of such a thing ever coming back to bite the Order in the ass in the first place.

Lars von Sanders was born in the still healing scarred city of Dresden, born in the year of 1954, where Germany was split into two. The East and West Germany, one Communist and the other Capitalist in nature, that being the difference between the two is the ideology and poverty in place. Lars von Sanders's father was quick to turn to the Communist cause, after indoctrination in their camps, poor conditioning and favor of the Commissar in place that bought him a ticket home, a rare circumstance for a member of one of the Nazi party's inner circles, but his knowledge was well treasured for reasons as of the time to all but the Soviets, whom we believe are linked to the surge of Ritualist activity during that time period, and early experiments of theirs to use Occult researchers such as Leman von Sanders's knowledge. But we are under no impression that Lars poses any risk upon having him on board as one of the top Echelons of our Order today, on the contrary his knowledge has made him treasonous to the Soviets for what details shared, and his experience has been a welcome part of our Order.

He was no victim to being famished or in poor housing like many East Germans at the time as his father was the Occultist Researcher that has worked with tears as scouted reports indicate in Irkutsk, Soviet Union. His wife all the while unaware. They harbored no guilt for the deaths of millions as it was not something instituted into them by the Soviets, as opposed to the Allies in the West DeNazified the Western Germans with their propaganda that they were responsible for the atrocities committed under Hitler's regime, and their inability to do anything beckoned retribution in the fact their country was ruined. Whereas the East Germans were told that they were good little Communists, as much a victim as any other of Hitler's regime, which is perhaps why the phenomenon of the mass amounts of Neo-Nazi's have come to emerge from the Eastern side.

Under his own prompt, Lars von Sanders joined the STASI after following the prerequisite requirements need be for becoming a member, indulging within their task force in becoming a part of their intelligence community, and remaining active from 1975 to 1989 as a member of the STASI. His role as an agent spanned worldwide from the training of Cuban forces, assassinations, and outright attacks on foreign soils as to achieve [Redacted]. His service ended by his own defection to the West, as he supplied vital information over KGB activity operating in cooperation with the STASI, in their many clandestine activities, as well as several secretly stolen KGB folders in their headquarters in Berlin which aroused suspicion of what was long held to be under investigation that indeed the Soviet Union are bolstering their forces through a super soldier program through usage of demons possessing willing recipients in the Irkutsk Development Facility. Numerous failures were known by such experiments, but nonetheless the facility was raided, and the results were satisfactory. A high kill ratio ensued over what Ritualists were being fostered there, as the treatment of their experimental subjects were deemed cruel and morally wrong, but overall it could not be let that such attempts to harnessing demons to aid the Communist cause to come to fruition.

Following then on, Lars von Sanders acted as a double agent for the duration of the short year, shutting down as many as eighty nine spy rings in Italy, most of them in Rome, before being taken off from such risks to prevent his cover from being too high profile, and from then on, has used his experience in dealing with supernatural affairs that he encountered in his time with the STASI, dossiers compiled over many demons previously thought unknown, to help facilitate better ways to deal with them and specifications on how to put them down with the least amount of trouble as possible. I would say the fingers that act in conjunction to our head, henceforth in this annual report, we find no cause to doubt Lars von Sanders' loyalty, and that he is not the traitor amidst our rank, but there may be another at hand, which is a cause for concern in light of these heresies.

TRIVIA:

- Held the former rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
- Lars is far sighted, and as age follows, needs reading glasses when looking too closely.
- He is missing his ring finger on his left hand, having lost it to torture in Angola when captured there briefly, he made sure to chop off the torturer's hands in turn when departing from his imprisonment in his escape. The said torturer is still out there, to this day, looking for revenge against Lars.
- Has an uncle that is living in Argentina, whom was some guard to a camp in WWII, and for some reason, changed his name to Julio Juarez. Strange.
- Even stranger, Lars has his six children staying over at Uncle Juarez's place in Argentina, with one of them missing, and the other a runaway since there is no connection between Lars and said child, whom is an adult as of this point, as all the rest of them are, that three of them even have kids of their own.
