Backstreets of Regal Necropolis

"C'mon now, Domino," the green haired demon spoke, his gravelly voice sending silent echoes about the charred brick walls stretching through the alley. He took a step back, mouth twitching only slightly, "We don't need this t'get violent."

No response came from the larger of the two, a huge cleaver slipping from its grasp temporarily, but sliding along the ground as it tightened one of its talon-like claws around the handle. Some days the one known as Domino was at least a tad bit forgiving of slip ups. Days like today, however, just the thought of someone losing a shipment of Ritualist artifacts made the demon's blood boil. Literally. His lion-like face contorted, unintelligible growls beckoning from his jowls as he stepped forward with the pig trotters he called feet.

"Domino... B'dy... Watch where y'sling that t'ing, C'MON!!" Jumping back as the blade nearly cleaved him in two, the smaller demon winced as a medallion fell from his jacket pocket. Domino's eyes left his target, scanning over the medallion. The truth became clear slowly, but all the same dangerously apparent. Lucrum Saliva had been conning him from the beginning.

Turning on his heel, the green haired and reptilian demon bolted down the alleyway. Not looking back, a strong smirk came across his face as he lifted a foot and padded it against the wall, pushing himself forward with more speed. Domino might've been pretty stupid, but when he was pissed he could be a roaring tank. Lucrum wasn't going to let that behemoth catch up with him today. His mortal form, he was sure, would be fast enough to keep the other demon at bay. He'd been wrong before though.

Left. Right. Left. Right. Gaius marched with a soldiers tireless gait. Every step kicking up a cloud of dust as he walked the desecrated streets of the Necropolis, his every motion setting the dirt in the air a dance with the pale sickly light of this realm. IT was home, or so he was told, to the Archdemon Mammon... Who he had yet to have the pleasure of actually meeting. Through from what the Centurion had gathered he was a luck individual for that vary reason. She was not one you wanted to talk to if you could avoid it. The demon's skin was covered in the fine dust, and even as he moved more seemed to settle on him, turning the creature a ghastly grey color.

The streets where oddly silent, usually demons of various sorts roamed about picking fights with each other and filling the air with the loud din of battle... But not here... Not today. What could be heard though, even over the loud slap of his boots on stone... Was the pounding of foot steps, and the angry sound of someone screaming in rage. He let his feet carry him closer to the sound, his keen dark eyes darting this way and that searching for the source of the sounds.

Honestly he had no reason to go towards the sound other then sheer boredom. He could do with a little excitement tell he was yet again called up into the human world to dance and frisk about with the still living. He could only smile as he turned the corner, his mind adrift with thoughts of his next adventure when he ran almost face first into someone... Or something. He really needed to pay attention to his surroundings.

Hmm~ What was she doing here? Ana blissfully skipped, unaware to her surroundings, through the area. She had no idea where she was or why she was even there, but she was there.. She was watching another couple of demons goof off and play a game of 'Let's cut you in half'. HEY! Why wasn't SHE invited to play too? Ana loved that game! In fact, she could go pro.. if she really wanted to. However with her busy schedule of bidding to Gilgamesh's will, well, Ana rarely had these moments where she could sneak away. (Though unbeknownst to her she could probably ask and Gilgamesh could care less). She morphed into her demon form and with swift movements, she caught up with the fleeing demon.

"Heeyyy~ Can I play tooo~? I lovvveee this gameeee~!" She grinned ear to ear at him. Of course she didn't really wait on his answer or care that much what he had to say against it. Ana was already running with him. "You're getting an audience too, maybe he'll help chase us?" While she was running, she kicked her sandals off. One man ran into another and Ana stopped, but her feet kept going. Effectively, she was running in place. A soft giggle came from her lips, since she was having a field day. "Oh hey sir! Did you want to chase us too?! We only have three players now." She hopped up and down a few times in excitement. Her dress of course moved up past her knees, but not much farther than that. She looked back and then started running again. "HE'S CHARGGIIIINNNNNGGGG AHA HEEEEE!" Her voice trailed while she picked up speed .

Looking back with a hard smirk, Lucrum's face quickly changed to that of shock when the female demon began running next to him. Shaking his head, he attempted to speed past her, but, alas, she still kept pace with him. Growling slightly, he spit to the side before looking the new annoyance up and down. It looked alright, but she wasn't a human babe. No fun in it unless you were getting something valuable in return.

"This ain't no game, get lost." Looking back to check the distance he had away from Domino, Lucrum didn't even notice anyone had walked in front of him until his face met with the ashen chest of a spartan-like creature. Falling backwards, he raised a clawed hand to his head and rubbed it slowly after he hit the ground.

"Why don'cha watch-" He would have continued, but the sight he caught behind him wasn't too pretty. The beast he had been running like hell from was closing in now, screams and roars growing louder. Eyes nearly popping out of his skull, the little thief darted between Gaius' legs and began climbing up the wall to the side of them.

"Y'really don't wanna have't fight that bloke, eh? He's big trouble, watch y'self." At his last words he slithered around a window and up to the roof, peeking from overhead. "Best t'just let'm tire 'imself out."

SMACK! He felt someone run into his bare chest and glanced down to see not one but two smaller demons who where in the middle of running from a rather angry and some what bigger individual. "Why don'cha watch-" He glanced down to look at the creature that was speaking for him but yet again his eyes where forced up by the sounds of rage coming from the creature charging them. Its nostrils where flared, its mouth frothing, and its eyes popping from its skull. All in all it was a rather attractive sight.

"Oh hey sir! Did you want to chase us too?! We only have three players now." Game? What game? It looked as if the two of them had been running for their lives... Ahh that must have been it. That must have been the game she had been talking about... Though he wasn;t exactly sure how much fun it would be considering it would probably end in one if not both of them dead... OH! That would be a fun game to get in on! Though before he could speak something happened.

He glanced down as he felt something pass between his legs and saw the tail end of the male passed under him, and he knew he was to late to even attempt to stop him. He heard the creature slither up the wall behind him and then looked back down to see the female... Or rather girly male (Honestly it was hard to tell some days.) start to run... and he knew for a fact that he wouldn't be able to catch her or the one that had scurried up the wall behind him... And that meant he was alone... Aside from the charging beast that was c haring right at him with murderous intent."Oh Furies take me!" He muttered as he turned toward his new found assailant. If he got out of this, the demon on the wall would be in a world of hurt.

The man they had passed was acting so confused! It wasn't like the game was hard to figure out! REALLY! Ana shook her head and sighed. Some people had no sense of fun! She grinned ear to ear as she kept speed with her new friend (despite his obvious disinterest in her). Her body stopped and spun on the heel though when the man behind her didn't follow. Her body spun to see in a blinking daze that he was challenging the beast! WHAT?! Ana huffed and stomped her foot. "HEY! HEY! THAT'S CHEATING! YOU CAN'T KILL THE CHASER!" She sat down on the ground and crossed her arms in a pout.

"Some people don't know how to have fun! Ruins everything." Her lips pulled into a smile after a moment and she pulled her demon form back into the visuals. Not long after, she shrugged off her jacket and sighed heavily. A soft mutter of angry words were mentioned to her jacket, and she threw it aside, before grasping a hand to her cleavage. With an agile movement, she pulled shadows out and a sword formed slowly as she swung it away from herself. In case the beast was still charging, she figured she could help the solo-fighter's ass. "I didn't know we could switch to offensive so swiftly!" Her voice was almost chivalrous and proud as she grinned. "WE CAN TAKE HIM OUT! AND THEN CHASE HIM! IT'S ONLY FAIIIRRR."

"Oi, love, y'damaged in the head or somet'in'?" Lucrum gave a lazy look over to the feminine demon as she transformed. "Don'cha hear the bedtime stories? Little gals and boys, come t'Domino with broken toys," He smirked, but his lips began to peel back and the smile grew to macabre levels as he gave off a slight indigo aura and spiraled into the air.

"He takes the scraps and fur that's shed and pulls it und'neath y'bed." Back on ground level, the raging demon was nearing closer to Gaius. That is, until it noticed Lucrum transforming on the rooftop. Slinging its giant cleaver through the air, over the spartan's head, he let the handle slide from his grasp and the blade went spinning in his original target's direction.

Simply giving a blink as his form change was completed, the, now ashen skinned, demon slid out of the way of the thrown weapon. Giving a small chuckle, he completed his little spiel with, "Fucks wit' me an' ends up dead, or somet'in' like that, eh?" Cackling, he floated down from the roof, an odd, orange tattoo creeping up his forearm, and next to the one he'd made face-to-chest contact with earlier. His entire arm began to transform, turning a shade of green and breaking through the chain on his wrist. As it finished its change, Lucrum held the massive claw up and flicked Domino in the head with it, causing the beast to give a trot back.

"Behemoth scriptor ungue non curat liberos fabulas."

"HEY! HEY! THAT'S CHEATING! YOU CAN'T KILL THE CHASER!"

Blink. What the hell was that? He took a moment to glance behind him and was faced with what could have been one of the oddest sights in all his lives. The woman was sitting on the ground and pouting like some sort of teenage girl. What in the nine hells did she think she was doing? "Some people don't know how to have fun! Ruins everything." Blink. She must have been insane, even by the standards of demons to say such a thing! Life in hell was not supposed to be fun, no it was a constant pitiless fight for survival, it was obvious she had no understanding of that. "Oi, love, y'damaged in the head or somet'in'?Don'cha hear the bedtime stories? Little gals and boys, come t'Domino with broken toys, Fucks wit' me an' ends up dead, or somet'in' like that, eh?"

The centurion didn't have enough time to figure out what the male had said, for the foe he was to face was upon him. He didn't move as the cleaver flew over his head, knowing instinctively that it was not meant to hit him. As Lucrum landed Gaius spared him a glance, and smiled as he saw the claw. It seemed as if he would not be fighting alone... Though he did expect to be stabbed in the back once this ordeal was over.

"I didn't know we could switch to offensive so swiftly! WE CAN TAKE HIM OUT! AND THEN CHASE HIM! IT'S ONLY FAIIIRRR." BLINK! Gaius heard the change come over the woman and had to wonder what she was about! So whimsical, so... Odd. Though he could respect the fact that she was trying to get as much enjoyment out of her existence as possible. "When im through with him, he wont be able to give chase. Though i may hunt you down, if that's any consolation." He could do with some release.

"Behemoth's claw does not care about children and their stories."

Gaius gritted his teeth as he heard the other Latin... No one seemed to be able to speak the language of Rome any more! "Your syntax is horrible." He more muttered that then anything else, not expecting the other to hear it. With a sigh his form started to change, his body warping and growing in size, his skin once pale turning far more ashen then before. His cloths changed as well, the rather simple outfit turning to a perverse centurions uniform. The cold red eyes turned on the one that had been giving chase and bore into it with a intensity that left little to the imagination. With out another word he grew his shinning golden blade and shrugged the large shield from his back and onto his now huge arm. It was time to do battle, and the soldier was now ready.

The one demon running with her seemed to think she was insane. Pft. What did he know? She was perfectly sane and there was absolutely no reason to give such a questioning statement. What? She wasn't allowed to play the game? How rude! She was just enjoying her time and he was making her out to be like she was dumb. Well... maybe she was.. a little.. but that wasn't a fair statement since Ana couldn't remember many things from before waking up. "When im through with him, he wont be able to give chase. Though i may hunt you down, if that's any consolation." Ana smirked and winked at him.

"I'm not easy to catch." She laughed as she ducked forward with a dash to catch up with the other two. Her blade slashed forward while the two chatted in Latin (Which she knew, but didn't bother pursuing the language). The demons were having enough fun with challenging the beast before them. Her body moved with intent to harm the Domino person. "I doubt you could get me, but it'd be fun to see you try~." Her voice sang out in a taunting form.

"Yeah? So is y'breath, sod off." Syntax? They were busy fighting a black market trader, and this guy wanted to correct his grammar? Ducking as Domino swung one of its talons in his direction, Lucrum hefted up his own massive claw and gave a rather quick punch to the bigger of the demons. The beastly face of the latter contorted as the blow made contact, and Domino stumbled backwards.

"As f'you, love, I'd suggest keepin' y'mouf shut." Wringing back his claw for another punch, Lucrum gave a heavy smirk before finishing with, "If some'udy wants t'catch ya bad enouf they'll do it."


Slinging his claw forward, he tightened his teeth as the third blow made contact, sending Domino sliding back this time. Not giving him the time to recover, Lucrum gave a quick skip forward before sending a kick flying outward. The further enraged butcher-like demon snarled and let out a roar as it raised its arm to block the foot sent its way. Turning its wrist, it grabbed hold of Lucrum's ankle and in a quick flick the thorn in his side was sent flying into the wall.

Rubble falling from him as he attempted to move, the white haired demon shook his head slightly before looking back up at his assailant. Before the dust could settle, he could already see the monstrosity moving in for another attack. He probably wasn't going to be quick enough for this one, might as well just grit his teeth and take it like a man.

Gaius could only watch as his two fellows moved forward, with more grace then he it was true but with far less discipline. It was like they where fighting on pure instinct, rather then instinct mated with training. It was a recipe for disaster, and he had seen it made on more then one occasion. It had lead to the down fall of the native tribes that had faced off against the legions. It had lead to the down fall of individual soldiers who thought they knew better then those who had trained them. "Yeah? So is y'breath, sod off." He made no noise as the other spoke, not wanting to ruin his concentration on the matter at hand... Though afterwords he would have to have a talk with this little fellow. One did not speak that way to Gaius Skipio! "I'm not easy to catch. I doubt you could get me, but it'd be fun to see you try~." He just grunted in reply and took a step forward, shield raised and angled away from his body, his sword held low ready to lash out with but a seconds notice. He would exchange banter with the two after this was done.

He could do to fallow his own advice, for when he had finsihed speaking the smaller demon suddenly found him self flying through the air. Gaius saw the creature move, so intent on going in for the kill that it did not notice that the other two demons that had gathered to kill it where still there. As it raised its weapon Gaius raised his shield above his head and jumped inbetween the weapon and the one he was helping... For now.

The blade of the cleaver slammed into his shield, the jarring impact sending a shiver through his very bones. With a grunt of effort he braced him self and pushed up and out, throwing wide his enemies stance. That was all he needed to strike. His armed moved faster then most could think possible, fairly blurring with speed. The other demon screamed in pain as his sword found its flesh not once but twice in the blink of an eye. The demon screamed and took a step back, its eyes glowing with both pain and furry. If the beast hadn't been pissed before it sure as hell was now. "TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO DIE!" His voice rang out as clear as a bell and echoed down the crumbling streets that they now inhabited.

The one demon was so rude. "If some'udy wants t'catch ya bad enouf they'll do it." That all but ruined her game! Her eyes narrowed at him with boredom, as she sighed. What fun was a game if people assumed the outcome without playing. It was like playing a game where you already knew the winner. This man, was such a pessimist. She didn't understand how someone could be that depressing.

And this fight- Ana just wasn't feeling it. The Spartan-like man was doing massive damage on his own, without the help of her and their new depressing friend. Ana simply stood there. She might as well be a cheerleader, because the two boys obviously didn't need her help, anyways. She waved her sword and backed out of the range of fire. "GOOD WORK, GUUYYYYSSS!" She wasn't trying to be useless, she really WAS trying to help, but at this point she figured they had a good grasp on teamwork and fighting the monstrosity. She played with her sword a small distance away, by twirling it and humming a tune. Yep, it was better than nothing though. At least she wasn't a damsel in distress!

Looking up, surprised, Lucrum stared in awe at the spartan. He'd saved him? There was respect to be had there, but it wasn't exactly the kind of treatment he was used to. The demon's face contorted in pain, however, as his savior slashed into Domino's stomach and chest, some of the blood from the wound splattering onto his Behemoth's Claw.

"FUCK, THAT'S HOT HOT HOT." Jumping up, the incubus shook what he could from his, now steaming, arm. The blood that had spilled from the monstrosity was actually boiling. It was like having his arm splashed by a recently boiled kettle of tea. "This bloke's heatin' up, best t'keep y'distance, eh?"

Tapping Gaius' shoulder as he gave warning, Lucrum slid around him and back to the distance the third of their group was at. Wincing slightly at her cheers, he gave a small growl. "This is all fine an' dandy, but," Looking around quickly, he grinned wide as his eyes made contact with a rope.

"Maybe if the sword swingin' bloke can keep 'im distracted, I can get piggly wiggly's feet tied..." It was a better plan than anything else he could think of right now, but he'd need to switch back to his mortal form to be fast enough to get in and out of there. The tattoo on his claw began to dissolve into ash, and soon Lucrum's arm was back to normal, chain and all. His reversion didn't stop there though, as his hair began to turn back to the sickly green of his lesser stage. Kicking up dust behind him as the transformation was complete, Lucrum jumped for the rope.

The blood, it burned! But Gaius didn't notice the pain from it, nor did he hear the words of those around him. Why would he? His entire life was focused on this one moment, this one battle. He felt alive. The ichor that was his lifes blood pumped through his veins in a rhythmic beat that accented the music of his battle. The sound of steel on steel, the grunts of exertion, the sound of sweat dropping from their skins. It all combined to make the most beautiful of musics, and he danced the only dance one could to its beat.

His now crimson red eyes where locked on those of his adversary, in an instant they took measure of each other, and in that same moment he knew with out a doubt that he would see victory this day. For behind the rage of the beast before him was the singular fear that lead to the downfall of any great warrior- The fear of death its self. He was not held back by that weakness, nor the heedless need for self preservation. They where beings of war and death, what need did they have for such weak thoughts?

They danced then, the two creatures of death driving against each other sparking flying as their swords met in mid air. He could sense the rising panic in his adversary as he was slowly pressed back. His blade flew in a crimson arc as it yet again found flesh, and hot boiling blood flew through the air. His grey skin was dotted with the putrid substance, his flesh smoldering under the acrid blood that he had spilt. Yet the Centurion did not blink, did not cringe, did not turn away from his enemy nor did he give ground. "TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO DIE!" His battle cry rang out again, adding to the music that was their battle.

Yup. This was a boring battle that Ana had no interest in. She instead, sat down and basked in the beautiful light of the Hell they all lived in. Inferis was just going by as the two men battled the beast with apparently boiling blood. The spartan man shouted something again and for a moment, Ana wondered if the demon had created an alternate verse where she was reliving something that had already happened. What a scary thought!

Nonetheless, Ana simply sat there in just her bikini top and short shorts, daydreaming while screams of horror hit the back of her mind. No they weren't from those three, but in the distance, some group of demons was being tortured.. but it was Hell, that happened often. She sighed and counted rocks she saw on the ground. "Hm.. 1... 2...." Each number earned a poke from her blade. Indeed, she was simply so unthreatened by the presence of the beast, she was ignoring it completely!

Grabbing up the rope, Lucrum slid forward as he tried to come to a stop after spinning himself and kicking off the corner of the alleyway to keep from face-planting into the stone surface. His eyebrows lowered as he watched the two other demons fight one another. Their blades clashed, neither giving an inch at first, but, eventually, the one who'd saved him began to push Domino back. Little by little the beast moved, and all the green haired shrimp could do was watch. Watching. Waiting for the right moment.

"Now." Sprinting toward the two, his jacket made a snapping noise as he took off. The rope trailed along behind Lucrum as he closed the distance between the clashing blades and himself. Ducking as Domino was cut, the blood flying overhead, he smirked and slid between the two of them. As he passed by their feet, the smaller demon quickly tied one end of the rope around the furred assailant's ankle, before he continued sliding into the wall. Jumping up, he wrapped the other end of the rope around his palm and began climbing up the building once more. Enough length to the rope that he could reach the top, when he stood back up on the roof he gave a growl and tugged hard.

"Now kill him!" He cried out in Latin as best he could as the giant butcher fell to the ground. He didn't normally speak the language so openly, but it was the first thing he could think of to get the other demon's attention. "He will not give you another chance!"

It was a one sided battle, the one he fought had passion and strength it was true but he lacked the finesse, skill and training one needed to be a warrior of any consequence, most demons he had noticed save those that made their home in the Undercroft where of the same mentality. They lacked dedication to the art that was war, seeing violence as a means in and of it's self, seeking to put terror in what ever helpless prey they managed to find. They where true terrorists, but those tactics did not work on those who feared nether death nor dying which gave Gaius an advantage over most who would do battle with him.

He sensed more then saw the smaller demon moving about them, doing something... But he knew it was not to him, so he didn't care. All he saw and cared for was the one who he was about to kill, he could sense it was coming... The final blow that would end this fight for life. It was not a battle the he would normally enjoy, but a fight was a fight and that was all he could ask for right then. His shield pushed forward catching the monsters blade on its demonic steel edge. He threw his arm wide pushing the blade away from both him self and his enemy.

His foe stumbled then, and fell Gaius did not hesitate then, knowing this was the best chance he would get. With a shout of exaltation he raised his large and heavy shield and brought it down with a loud THWAK onto the creatures neck, severing the head with one mighty blow. "TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO DIE!" He reached down, the hot blood splattering his face and arms, and took up the head and raised it to the sky. Today he had won a battle, today he had proved him self a warrior! "FOR THE GLORY OF ROME!"

The demon was slain! YAAAYYY!!! Ana stood up and clapped her hands with a giddy smile. Her uselessness was lost to her at the moment, but it wasn't like the boys were in that much danger while working together, anyways. Her bright grin remained, even though the Roman man kept screaming the same phrase in Latin over and over again. Was it REALLY that good of a day to die? Ana debated a moment, as she looked at the sky for any sort of weathers that made the day so much better than any other. It seemed just another day in Regal Necropolis, buttt she had been wrong before. BESIDES, every day was fun and exciting! Everything was brand new to her and today was special with two new friends who were probably pretty annoyed with her (but she didn't notice).

Ana took a few pixie-like steps over to them, curious on what would happen, now. Her blade slid easily in her belt loop (for now) and she was simply smiling obliviously at them both. After all, Master Ba'al always urged that people should ALWAYS be ready to defend themselves. Strangers were strangers, even if they were friends (Though that didn't make a whole lot of sense to her). "Great job, guys!" She said in complete seriousness. Yup.. completely oblivious.

Lucrum whiped his brow with the sleeve of his jacket and jumped down next to the Roman soldier. Patting off his pants, he looked up at the demon that had finished off the pig he'd just conned. There was something interesting about this guy. Lucrum liked interesting. He liked it a lot.

The girl ran over, congratulating them on the kill, and the green haired demon gave a short hand wave to it. "Don't look't me, most've it was this bloke." Crouching down, he pocketed the talisman that had fallen out of Domino's pocket when he fell.

"So, mate, y'got a name?" He rose to full height, still much shorter than the other, and extended a clawed hand to him for a shake. "Billie Rotten at y'service. Most call me Spit." He made sure not to give his real name. You could never be too careful in Inferis, especially when you used to serve directly under Beelzebub and decided that noise wasn't your bag. Life of a rogue demon wasn't a pretty one, but it beat being a slave to a gluttonous fool. Or worse, dead.

He panted, not because he was tired but because he wanted more. More blood, more fire, more passion. He was filled with life, with the zest for life. Slowly his arms lowered and his towering demon form slipped away, returning to the man clad in nothing but sandals and a leather loin cloth. He looked up from his vanquished foe and then down at him self. He was painted red with the creatures blood, the gore crisscrossed his tattoos and turned him into a rather gruesome tapestry. The roman wrinkled his nose in distaste then looked about him scowling at the other two demons that had survived the scuffle. "You're still here? I thought the both of you would have ran away."

He looked over to the male of the pair and nodded his head when he gave his name. "Mine is Gaius Ocatvian Skipio." Like always he spoke his name with pride and let his amber orbs linger on the two before him before turning his back and walking away. "It was... Nice meeting you. That was a decent fight. Thank you." With that said over his shoulder he turned the corner and began his quest for water with which to clean him self... It was at times hard to find. But he had all the time in the world... Right?

The spartan man seemed pleased with himself. Not that Ana could blame him, but still it was enough to have him collect himself and leave with a 'thank you'. "You're welcome!" Ana replied though she had no idea what for despite him saying it. Oh wrll, win some, lose some. This left Ana alone with Billie who said he did nothing really. However it did not stop her from a greeting again. "I am Ana." The girl proclaimed it proudl. So, now what? With the demon slain and no third player, what could Ana do? Her smile said nothing as shr was a blank card. "What game next?"

"It was... Nice meeting you. That was a decent fight. Thank you." Lucrum knew two things about the man walking away from him now. One, he wasn't a handshake kind of guy. Two, his name was Gaius. Giving a sly smirk, he pocketed his hands and turned away. He'd be meeting that bloke again, he could feel it in his pointy little boots.

Throwing a hand in the air to wave back to him, the green haired demon responded with a, "Yeah, anytime, mate." His eyes went back to the girl then. She was still here? Surprising, she didn't look like the type to stick around after a fight. His eyes moved to her sword, and the thought changed. Maybe she could be of some use.

"Y'like games, do ya? Well, y'pal Billie might 'ave a proposition for ya." Lucrum's lips curled up into a sharp-toothed smile, and he pointed off north. "Out that way a bit I've got me a club called The Love Nest. Ain't all that right now, but I'm lookin' t'be expandin' my horizons, so t'speak." He walked around Ana and gave a chuckle, cramming his hand back into his pocket.

"Y'didn't really 'elp with that scruff, but I t'ink I could get some use out of ya, eh?" Turning back to her, he pulled the talisman out of his pocket and held it in front of her. "I like t'dabble in sin like any other bloke ya'd meet 'round Inferis. I'd ask y't'maybe put on a show for some fellas, but I got enough girls workin' in that depa'tment. 'Ow'd y'like t'do me another job?" His grin widened further as he gave the penultimate addition to his proposal.

"It'd be pretty fun t'kill somebody y'self, don'cha t'ink?"

Ana stood there as the man circled her. He had a proposition...? What of? Her eyes followed the man's every movement until he was behind her. What was it he was asking? She could hardly understand him. Her face contorted into a very bewildered frown. She just didn't really understand what he was saying..? Or was he asking? Or.. was it HOW he said it? She found herself zoning out, but her eyes rested on him. His club? Love nest? What? She really didn't understand where she was at, because she didn't think she'd encountered either of those things before.

" 'Ow'd y'like t'do me another job?" Ana grinned suddenly. OH! That she understood! It didn't have anything to do with nests or clubs which was good, because she had no idea why someone with birds would have a club. Maybe to beat off predators with? UNLESS! He meant a club sandwich?! Her stomach growled.

"It'd be pretty fun t'kill somebody y'self, don'cha t'ink?" He was smiling widely and Ana couldn't help but to catch that infectious grin.

Her response was a bit dumb, but she was proud and overly excited to state it. "SO! You want me to kill somebody for a sandwich?" She paused and laughed at her own reaction, blushing faintly. "I uhmm.. I don't know what a club is unless it's a sandwich- or a love nest? Those things are strange and foreign to me. If you need my help with something, I'll gladly help." Ana smiled and closed her eyes.

She was grinning back, that was a good sign. Quickly pocketing the jeweled talisman again, he awaited her answer. Of course, what she did say was nowhere near what Lucrum had expected, causing his expression to change to dumbfounded.

"SO! You want me to kill somebody for a sandwich?" After a moment of silence, she began to laugh, and he just gave a growl. Preparing to say something in return, it was then brought to his attention that she had no knowledge of what a club was. Definitely not knowledgeable of the world, was she?

"Y'know what, love? Don't sweat the fine details, all y'need to know is that Billie owns a gathering place for some fine gents." Scratching the back of his neck, he brought a clawed finger to the sword at her side, lifting it a bit and letting it drop. "I'ma guess y'know how t'use that t'ing, yeah? That brute Domino had kin that's gonna be right pissed. Name's Vic."

Crouching down to the ground, Lucrum began to draw a map of the area in the sand. Once he'd completed it, he marked an 'X' where his club was and looked up to Ana. "Y'interested, meet me there, eh? X marks the spot, consider this a bit of a game too." He stood up and took a slow step back, making sure not to smudge the makeshift map. Jumping high, he grabbed the ledge of a rooftop and flipped his way up. He called back as he began to jump away, "Hope t'see ya soon, love!"
