DESCRIPTION:
Tommy Smalls certainly does not have a fitting name.

The most immediately obvious physical trait he possesses is that he is massively overweight.

PERSONALITY:
A 250 word description of how your character acts towards other characters and how they think. Include some sort of moral alignment – hates Demons and Templars? Likes one and not the other? Just hates... everyone? Do they act differently in Inferis to they do in the Real Life?

HISTORY:
In his prime, Tommy Smalls was one of, if not the, greatest demon hunters who had ever lived. Since then, he's become a washed up drunk, and a warning to all demon hunters that strength alone is not enough.

Tommy gained the ability to go into Infernis from his mother, though when he was born her demon hunting days were already long over, having been wheelchair-bound. Tommy was a lot luckier, making his first cross into Infernis at the age of just fifteen. It wasn't until he was seventeen when he began his demon-hunting career, but he was already formidable. He didn't use weapons, and he didn't rely on evocations. All he had, and all he needed, was his body, and his mastery of the martial arts.

Tommy, known in Infernis as The Ringed Dragon, was well and truly one of the most devastatingly powerful demon hunters who had ever lived. He didn't took a job from anyone. Ever. He only fought. He wandered both Earth and Infernis, neither world holding his loyalty in particular, looking for opponents strong enough to fight him. He fought ritualists, templars, demons alike, and nothing stood in his way. He carved a very bloody path into the history books with his many feats; it is believed that the number of demons he's killed is well over three hundred. Including humans, both templars and ritualists, that number doubles. His fierce reputation began to instil fear into the hearts of the otherwise arrogant demons; many of them would not sleep for fear of the Ringed Dragon coming towards them, his approach always announced by the clanging of the rings on his arms.

The most infamous of his achievements was one when his very soul was on the line. Lucifer himself had heard the many feats of the Ringed Dragon, and heard that Tommy Smalls had been hired to save a little girl who had been kidnapped by a great demon. Lucifer saw the opportunity to see why the Ringed Dragon was causing such a panic in many of the lesser demons. His proposition was simple. A sparring match, Lucifer in his mortal form and the Ringed Dragon without the bangles on his arms. If Tommy won, then the girl would go free, and her family would never be bothered by demons again. If Lucifer won, then Tommy's soul would be his, and the Ringed Dragon would serve Lucifer for eternity. Tommy agreed.

Lucifer himself, the Genesis of Sin, was shocked by the result; he wasn't just defeated, but defeated quite handily. While he was one of the more difficult fights the Ringed Dragon had ever fought, no matter what Lucifer did Tommy countered it. True to his word, Lucifer sent the girl home, but by doing so he sent a very chilling message through the denizens of Infernis. While it was only in his mortal form, many demons saw the defeat of Lucifer as the passing of a torch, the end of an era spanning millions of years. If the Lord of the Demons could not defeat Tommy Smalls, who could? What could?

The only thing left that could conquer him. His own guilt.

Tommy Smalls did not just go to Infernis for challenges. While he had destroyed and killed many an opponent, he tended to ignore the more benign of the demons, and even grew an attachment for one. A succubus. The two of them rarely spoke to each other in the beginning, but over the years Tommy got closer and closer. He even began to regard the succubus as a close friend, and would bring her things from the human world as gifts.

It was too good to last, and a demon hunter killed that same succubus.

Tommy, in part, blamed himself, though he went into steadfast denial and sought only revenge. He brutally tore through opponents, looking in vain for the demon hunter who had killed his friend. He had become even stronger in his rage, but it was all for naught. Tommy Smalls never found the demon hunter. Embittered by his loss and enraged by his failure, Tommy quit demon hunting, and disappeared into London to never be heard from again. The Ringed Dragon's reign of terror in Infernis lasted just eight years.

Tommy Smalls' story, however, doesn't end there.

A vengeful demon had been humiliated by the Ringed Dragon in his glory days, and he began searching for Tommy Smalls with the help of a ritualist. It was a long, gruelling process; the Ringed Dragon was making a concerted effort to never been seen or heard from again. However, in late 2011, over 25 years since the Ringed Dragon disappeared, he was finally found again... as a washed-up, obese London taxi driver living off pizzas and spending his days in a drunken haze. The demon was rudely shocked. What not even the lord of all sin could do, his own guilt had; guilt had reduced the Ringed Dragon to a beaten, broken man. The demon had half a mind to not even bother with a fight; after all, the Ringed Dragon was pitiable. Pathetic. The demon waltzed into Tommy's home, a small, dusty house in the middle of nowhere, and challenged him to a fight, thinking that it was completely impossible for Tommy to fight back.

Tommy, in fact, did win his fight, banishing the demon back to Infernis. But it was not a fight that went his way. Tommy was left wheezing, tired and battered. In those moments, Tommy realised that he couldn't continue to hide from the world, otherwise the world would find him. He's made many enemies in his time, and he knew he had to be ready once again, to defend himself.

The Ringed Dragon would have to rise from the ashes, and become who he once was.
