OVERVIEW:
- Reverend Smith's augment is certainly helpful when combating demons. In addition, it is fairly unique, being a genetic modification, performed during the second trimester of pregnancy, through carefully planned techniques at the time limited to Templar research. His DNA was altered such that whereas most people sweat well... Sweat. He sweats pure water. This doesn't seem like much at all, but when you note that he is a Templar, as well as a preacher, he blesses any water he comes in contact with, by the very nature of holy water. Therefore, he sweats holy water. In order to utilize this, he has only to build up a sweat, and he can collect his sweat in a vial, with patience, for later use, or, more conveniently, he will have sweaty hands, which would act as anti-demon weapons. What this means is that any punch he throws is received by a demon much like a blessed blade, striking with a sort of burning effect on their flesh, and causing cuts and bruises more easily. The weaknesses of such an augment, however, would be that he has to remain hydrated more than most people, and while holy water may be effective on all, or at least most, demons, his attack will only really affect those on the same, or lower, level than he.

- The good Reverend's second ability is rather useful in combat. It is useful, particularly so, in that with it, he really doesn't need to concern himself with the petty triviality of minor wounds. A minor wound, though... In the context of this ability, a minor wound is defined as any scratch, cut, bruise, or other injury that would not prove fatal or gravely wounding. The ability in question is the automatic healing of these injuries. Now, to put it more in perspective, yes, he can heal a broken arm within a few hours. No, he can't regrow his arm. He could probably regrow a kidney; he can't regrow his heart. This is accomplished through the means of special transgenic injections, in particular, those of the planarian- a species of worm that can regrow from very small pieces of its original body. Mind you, he can't do exactly that... Yet. And of course, there is a weakness to it; in order for his regeneration to stay active, he must consume twice his weight in food daily. Any less, and he will undergo the various phases of starvation; essentially, if he skips a day of food, that's like skipping a normal man's week of eating. Three days of "malnutrition" effectively mean that he will starve to death. Which is... Well, kinda sucky. But hey, he'll get MUCH more than his money's worth at Chinese buffets!
