DEMON DESCRIPTION:
Height: 5"11'
Eye colour: His eyes are completely white without any sign of a pupil. He finds eyes the hardest thing to copy when he replicates a mortal form.
Hair colour: White

Kobal has an impressive set of black, bat-like wings set on his back which make him a good flyer, making the observation process a lot easier. His pair of horns are black and white and he has a pointed demon tail. His appearance is basically humanoid with slightly warped features.
Species: Simply put, Kobal is a doppelganger demon.

MORTAL DESCRIPTION:
Have you ever caught your own image in the corner of your eye even if there is no chance it could have been your reflection? Have you ever seen someone you knew in a place they should not have been with no explanation ...or while they are standing right next to you? Then you most likely caught a glimpse of Kobal. Kobal has no set appearance in his mortal form, often taking the form of a various beings. However he cannot permanently take someones appearance unless he is very familiar with that form, after a while he forgets the correct hue colour in the eyes, the correct build of the body until he looks but a mockery of the person he is a Doppelganger for. He has his preferred form, usually staying in this mortal form when he is not needed to battle or fly. This is the one form he always gets perfectly correct so he considers it his default. Although he may take female form for the sake of a joke he prefers a male form for any extended period of time.

PERSONALITY:

At first glance you may consider this demon to be quite jovial and lively and without much depth, but behind this demons jests is a sharp mind and intellect that he uses quite effectively to his advantage. His aim is to live for the moment, wishing to gain superiority over the current situation with little regard for future events. His humor is usually at the expense of others, belittling them and generally making them the butt of many of his jokes. Favorably from him is sometimes evident if he makes jokes at others expense in front of you. He will respect you more however if you do not laugh, and even more so if you encourage more mockery. He will quite commonly question demons happiness, laughing at those who become defensive but respecting those with an intelligent response. If Kobal does not like you however he may become cold if you laugh at his shenanigans and say that his jokes are not for you to laugh at.

Kobal does however take himself seriously and will judge a person on how they react to different situations. Dark humor might not seem like such a scary or inherently 'evil' trait to represent. He has always been a rather observant being, evolving first from someone who would provoke others to think to now someone who will be happy to just provoke a reaction. He can be rather unpredictable since sometimes he jokes may have a reason behind them or none what so ever. Due to this he may actually be trying to learn something or be doing it 'just because', he may even change plans mid sentence.

He never really cared much for death because that means the game is over and joke is finished, however he is not against killing those who make him into the joke. Kobal tries his best to have little to lose in his life, he has no territory as he finds it too bothersome to worry about holding on to it. He will openly mock those who let their minds dwell and waste their energies on creating vast armies and servants to protect their little claims in hell.

Kobal has a superstitious complex and an ego that can be bruised by those who have a faster tongue than his own. Kobal prefers to say nothing than tell an non-truth, he will usually just smile knowingly and withhold information, enjoying watching others come to their own conclusions as he finds watching others thought processes rather interesting. If you know Kobal well enough you may start to learn the slight expression changes on his face, the slight twitches on his lips or brow and be able to tell what he is thinking. He will usually sit back at first, having fun watching other beings squabble and flounder as it is much more amusing then giving people all the answers.

Kobal is not the type to coddle another being, he enjoys being rather bluntly honest about someone and finds a small sense of enjoyment telling people they are not good enough and no one is except from his evaluations. However, he may praise someone else to belittle another person if that would cause a more amusing outcome. It can be rather difficult to tell if Kobal truly shows favor for another or if it is just part of a joke. Although he may mock those he considers friends if he feels they are in need for it, he is usually rather lighthearted although perhaps a little bitter about certain topics.

This demon believes that when it it comes to the game of life there is no winning or losing and will often ridicule those who spend too much of their time and efforts on pointless preparations and let their minds dwell.

In his Mortal form he puts on a more serious attitude at times but that is mostly just a shell, the jokes still slip from his mouth, just with a more neutral expression.

He enjoys music and is fond of people with appealing voices.

HISTORY:
Before Kobal became a demon he was a priest living in Germany. Kobal had always been raised in a strict religious environment and had been raised since a young age to work within a church and to be a priest was always the profession that his family had chosen for him. His family was very deep into the church however many secrets were kept from him as he was too young to know. Every day since he was little he kept a journal and notes down anything he found interesting.

Kobal took his job as priest very seriously and he memorized the bible cover to cover and could quote anything from the scriptures and tell you who wrote it. He was highly social and enjoyed the company of others, he has always loved to talk and still does to this day but it used to be much more innocent in nature. While he was still human, Kobal had many he called his friends and his greatest joy was to hear the kind laughter of others. Kobal had always been one who likes to listen and take notes and could often find himself listening to others and offering a sharp but always well intended words of advice.

He is always the happiest when challenging his mind and was always drawn to charismatic personalities that challenge his and others intellect. With a thirst for knowledge and terrible amounts of curiosity he found himself getting into something that he really shouldn't of. When the second leak about the Templars was leaked he learnt more about heaven and hell then he ever knew was possible. He learnt about the demons and Lucifers ideas that got him cast into hell , Kobal had found the opinions fascinating but even more so he enjoyed the thought it provoked in those who discussed them. While other were uncomfortable in answering these questions, Kobal would encourage the discussions, pressing others for replies. At first this was innocent curiosity and wonder but later it evolved into him just wanting to cause reactions by provoking them. And after learning more about Lucifer he started to favour his ideas.

He was now aware of gods true powers and he found himself unable to stop laughing at the demons who were cast into agony.. and yet he sympathized with them in a way. Something inside him changed and his sense of humor became much more dark and twisted as he felt the perverse pleasure of mockery that was so opposite to his original thoughts. He started becoming a liability and was killed by the Templar for being a threat to their association and his soul was cast down to Inferis.

He writhed in agony himself until he was able to pull his being together, his first words were nothing more than laughter that he was unable to stop.

Oh it was quite awful, but in a way it was funny wasn't it? You just can't help but laugh at someones miss fortune.

In the beginning of his demon hood he was task to lead others astray. Laughter and humour is a rather powerful social tool after all and can easily be used for sadistic means.

Kobal finds no need in opposing god however as the Arch demons do as he finds it rather redundant, all that he does now is for his own enjoyment or self gain.

There is no doubt that he is laughing at you and not with you.

Hell Princes mostly, however he respects Lucifer the most.

SKILLS:
-Observant and knowledgeable with the ability to assess situations with great cunning, he is able to mask this most of the time with his generally jovial outward personality.
-Speed. He is quite quick on his feet and in the air. His defense and offense rely mostly on speed based moves, evasion mixed with cunning.
-Variety of demon powers; Agility, flight and a rather good sense of smell which is his most well developed sense.

WEAKNESSES:
-His pride. If he is being mocked he can be thrown off very easily and become rather annoyed. Mocking him clouds his mind a little, especially if he is being laughed at by many.
-Curiosity. Kobal likes to observe and therefore feels superiority to those who know less than him, if he feels that he may be out of the loop he can put his nose where it doesn't belong and make things complicated for himself.
-Physical strength; Although he is not a weakling by any means (Although by demon measures it is not something to brag about), he usually prefers to win an argument through mockery, wit and his quick movements. In hand to hand combat with another demon or strong being he would be at a physical disadvantage.
-He lacks hope; He does fear god, he worries mostly in the end he will be made powerless in some way. He believes god has the power to end everything if he so desired.

Great app, Kobal! Really enjoyed reading this - the history was concise, but accurately conveyed everything it should, and the transition from the priest into Kobal's personality proper. So kudos first off the bat.

1] Mortal Form: As you may or may not be aware, a mortal form isn't the form utilised on Earth - that's down to whatever host a Demon possesses. Mortal Forms are used as a "sheath" as a sense for most Demons, allowing them to assume an aura of subtlety and, for larger Demons, move with speed and more ease. These only have to be pseudo-mortal; but they do have to be preset, and Kobal's Mortal Form seems to be at the moment relatively fluid. This isn't a bad thing by any means; but unfortunately, whilst changeable, if you could edit to reflect that he sort of has one staple, or, say "template" for his Mortal Form appearance, that'd be great. Thanks. ^_^
