OVERVIEW:
- The concept of draconic skin is easy enough; essentially biological body armor emulating some of the greatest natural armorsmiths on the planet (namely, reptiles). While modern technology has given us bulletproof armor that can protect us from bullets, the Templar Order wanted more. That's where Dragon Scales come into play. Essentially a serum designed to use the mystic powers of soul energy as a catalyst, the serum targets skin cells and forces them to grow new cells at an exponential rate, emulating the cells of living reptiles. The subject becomes covered in legitimate reptilian scales similar to an alligator's or a dragon's; making his entire body a living shield. The subject can still, unfortuantely, be subject to damage such as bruising and being torn to pieces, but his skin becomes almost completely immune to small arms fire (and rending demon claws).
